Five Locations Searched in Gornja Maoča

On January 25th, 2012, State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) police officials, as a part of an investigation of a recent terrorist attack on the USA Embassy in Sarajevo, searched five locations in the area of Gornja Maoča.
The aim of this action was a detection of evidential material that might be related to the aforementioned attack on the USA Embassy in Sarajevo. The evidential material possibly retrieved, upon criminal processing at the SIPA premises, will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H.
The searches initiated at the early morning hours were carried out upon the order from the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H, with the assistance from the Tuzla Canton Ministry of Interior police officials.
