Attempted Murder of Enver Suljagić Solved in Framework of “LUTKA” Case

On 11 November 2013, in the framework of a comprehensive investigation within the case code-named “Lutka”, members of the State Investigation and protection Agency (SIPA) submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office BH a report on a committed criminal offence and its perpetrator against one individual for the attempted murder of Enver Suljagić, President of the “Sarajevo TAXI” Association, which took place on 24 November 2010.

During the several-year long investigation, members of SIPA have solved and documented this serious criminal offence and submitted the report against one individual suspected of shooting a 7.62 mm automatic rifle from a near vicinity at a moving vehicle driven by Mr Suljagić at Betanija bb Street, Centre Municipality, Sarajevo, near the west stand of the “Asim Ferhatović – Hase” stadium, with an intent to murder him.

SIPA continues activities related to this criminal offence for the collection of additional evidence about persons who ordered it and exact motives for the perpetration of this criminal offence.

The investigative team of SIPA code-named “Lutka” continues activities aimed at solving a number of murders, robberies, extortions and other serious criminal offences whose intensity and methods disrupted the security of BH citizens. We expect that new criminal offences will be solved in the near future and the public will be duly informed.
